Thank you, Mitt Romney, For Highlighting Issues 2 & 3.

Issues 2 and 3 in Ohio have largely flown under the national radar. As we approach the Nov. 8th vote, the unions have waged expensive, brutal campaigns against the initiatives. Governor Kasich's reforms in Ohio are every bit as monumental as what Governor Walker achieved in Wisconsin earlier this year, and he has earned the support of fans of limited government across the country with this battle. Governor Romney is clearly not among the fans of limited government.

America's Phantom: Social Security

Welcome to the new Broadway hit: The Phantom of America, starring America’s debt. The premise of the story is that America, falling just short of $15 trillion in debt, is being dragged down the path of unsustainability. The role of the Phantom is played by Social Security. Its true identity—massive unfunded liabilities and unsustainable growth—is masked by the rosy depiction of “security” for all generations that pay into the system.

Last Chance for Pennsylvania School Choice in 2011

Since January, FreedomWorks has been fighting for school choice in Pennsylvania, but the next few weeks are the most important yet. The outcome of this fall's legislative session will determine whether Pennsylvania schools serve students and parents or continue catering to unions and bureaucrats. Governor Tom Corbett has proposed an aggressive plan to put parents back in charge of education that FreedomWorks and our allies around the state are proud to support.
