The Silencers

Usually it’s the cry of “racist".  This week, it’s that plus rhetoric like “inciting violence", “over the top", “uncivil".  What do all these descriptions have in common?  They’re all used to describe conservatives or Tea Party activists with the sole purpose of silencing political dissent against the tyranny of Barack Obama and Democrats in Congress. DON’T fall for it.

April 6: Save the Date

Since the Obama, Pelosi, Reid health care debacle was signed into law this week, at least fourteen states have joined a lawsuit against the overhaul, arguing that the law’s requirement that individuals buy health insurance is unconstitutional. This is a huge step in the continuing fight against the government takeover of health care and the preservation of our individual liberties.

Carbon Cap and Trade Would Not Be the Same as Sulfur Cap and Trade...

Proponents of a carbon cap and trade market have contended the following: given that sulfur cap and trade has been economically efficient, let’s emulate this model with the creation of a carbon cap and trade market. This argument, however, is strictly theoretical. In other words, it disregards the difference in size between what would be a large scale, far reaching carbon cap and trade market, and an inherently small scale sulfur cap and trade market.

Co-sponsor Informed Taxpayers' Federal Government Annual Reporting Act of 2010

Dear Representative,On behalf of hundreds of thousands of FreedomWorks members nationwide, I urge you to co-sponsor Rep. McCarthy’s (R-CA) Informed Taxpayers’ Federal Government Annual Reporting Act of 2010. This is an important step toward increasing transparency and openness in government. In a democracy, it is essential that taxpayers be granted easy access to critical information including federal tax revenue, outlays, deficits, and public debt, which this bill helps provide.
