Atlas Economic Research Foundation
Helps create and develop independent public policy research organizations internationally by providing intellectual entrepreneurs with advice, financial support, workshops, and access to a network of leaders who share a commitment to achieving a free society.

American Enterprise Institute
The American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research is dedicated to preserving and strengthening the foundations of freedom–limited government, private enterprise, vital cultural and political institutions, and a strong foreign policy and national defense–through scholarly research, open debate, and publications. Founded in 1943 and located in Washington, D.C., AEI is one of America's largest and most respected "think tanks."

Cascade Policy Institute
Explores and promotes answers to Oregon's public policy questions from a limited government, free-market perspective.

The Cato Institute
A Washington D.C.-based libertarian think tank promoting public policy based on individual liberty, limited government, free markets, and peace.

The Commonwealth Foundation

Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI)
A free-market public policy organization, focused on regulatory issues, committed to advancing the principles of free enterprise.

Council for Government Reform
The Council for Government Reform seeks to encourage greater responsiveness by, and an overall reduction in the size and scope of, government at all levels. Our aim is to bring about a lower tax burden, improved economic security for our senior citizens, and a more efficient and less costly system of government for ourselves and future generations.

The e-Freedom Coalition consists of taxpayer groups, think tanks, and other organizations working together to ensure that individual liberty and freedom are protected online.

Foundation for Economic Education (FEE)
A research organization established in 1946 that publishes Ideas on Liberty.

Free-Market.net
Search various libertarian sites from this well designed "starting point for liberty."

The Heritage Foundation
Non-profit, conservative think tank in Washington. Known for its annual "Mandate for Leadership" volume outlining the organization's policy recommendations.

Heartland Institute
A non-profit, think tank headquartered outside Chicago, Illinois. Researches public policy issues with an emphasis on the state and local levels.

Independent Institute

Institute of Economic Affairs
A London-based economic research and educational organization.

Institute for Humane Studies (IHS)
A unique organization that assists undergraduate and graduate students who have a special interest in individual liberty. IHS is affiliated with George Mason University.

Institute for Justice (IJ)
Courtroom proponents of individual liberty, free markets, and limited government.

IntellectualCapital.com
A comprehensive site of public policy analysis and discussion forums from several think tanks, advocacy groups and other organizations.

Manhattan Institute
A research and educational organization supporting individual and economic freedom.

The Mercatus Center
The Mercatus Center is a non-profit research and education organization with a market-based approach to public policy, management and education.

National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA)
Develops and promotes private alternatives to government regulation and control, it aims to solve problems by relying on the strengths of a competitive, entrepreneurial private sector.

National Taxpayers' Union (NTU)
A grassroots network of taxpayers supporting lower spending and taxes, and taxpayer rights.

Nevada Policy Research Institute

Policy.com
A comprehensive site of public policy analysis and discussion forums from several think-tanks, advocacy groups and other organizations.

Political Economy Research Center (PERC)
PERC is the nation's oldest and largest institute dedicated to original research that brings market principles to resolving environmental problems.

Politics1
Politics1 identifies and provides links to every candidate for Governor, US Senate and Congress from all 50 states. Also provides interesting political history articles, links to news and opinion sites, and sells campaign paraphernalia.

Reason Foundation
A Los Angeles-based national research and educational organization that advocates public policies based upon individual liberty and responsibility and a free-market approach. Publisher of Reason, a monthly magazine of "free minds and free markets."

Regradar.org
A clearinghouse for proposed, pending, and new regulations maintained by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.

Regulation.org
An excellent collection of information on regulations and the regulatory process.

Seniors Against Federal Extravagance (SAFE)
SAFE is an advocacy group for future generations, including our children and grandchildren.

The Seniors Coalition
The Seniors Coalition is an education and advocacy organization for three million senior citizens.

Southeastern Legal Foundation
Founded in 1976, Southeastern Legal Foundation is an Atlanta-based public interest law firm that advocates limited government, individual economic freedom, and the free enterprise system in the courts of law and public opinion. Their mission is to engage in litigation and public policy advocacy in support of these principles.

Tax Foundation
Nonpartisan, non-profit research organization that studies taxation at the federal, state and local levels. Known for annual calculation of "Tax Freedom Day," which shows how much of the average American worker's earnings are taken in taxes by government.

Town Hall
Contains dozens of conservative public policy, political, grassroots, and educational organizations.
