Adam Brandon

FreedomConnector

Adam Brandon is the Vice President of Communications at FreedomWorks. He joined FreedomWorks in 2005 and runs the FreedomWorks press shop which includes outreach to all forms of print and broadcast media, as well expanding the footprint of small government conservatism onto new media platforms.

Prior to FreedomWorks, Adam taught high school in Washington, DC and worked campaigns in his favorite state in the union: Ohio. He is a passionate advocate of Austrian Economics and Public Choice Theory, and takes seriously the tradition of Samuel Adams that citizens need to organize and engage in the political process. Adam's arch nemesis on staff is Campaigns Director, Brendan Steinhauser.

Adam is addicted to higher education. He studied PPE at New College, Oxford in 1998 and 1999, and holds both a Master's and a B.A. in International Affairs and Economics from George Washington University and a second Master's in European Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. He currently is studying Finance at Georgetown University.

A resident of the Mount Pleasant neighborhood in Washington, DC, Adam can be found wasting his Sundays in a tragic and desperate effort to support his beloved Cleveland Browns. And yes, Adam is also a Revolutionary War reenactor.
