Al Gore, PhD (Prattling Hippie Demagogue)

In a recent blog about Al Gore’s new book, "The Assault on Reason," Brent Bozell III takes aim the former VP’s hypocrisy:

Time magazine highlighted Gore’s excerpt with this sentence: "The world of television … makes it virtually impossible for individuals to take part in what passes for a national conversation." How ironic. Isn’t it Al Gore who’s been wandering throughout the media telling them it’s way too late for a "national conversation" on global warming?

It seems that Gore wants not a "national conversation," but a national lecture. His desire to be looked upon as a brilliant scientist/politician/philosopher obviously correlates with the vast number of liberal apologists who have enrolled in ALGORE University. Simply put: to the "turn on, tune in, drop out" 60’s generation, he’s an intellectual giant. Never mind the fact that he enrolled in, but never graduated from, both Vanderbilt Divinity School and Vanderbilt Law School.

Yes, Al, I know you won an Oscar, but I’m afraid that, even though you’re tenured at "The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences," I’m going to stick with accredited institutions.
