FreedomWorks for America Congratulates Justin Amash on MI-3 Primary Victory

FreedomWorks for America congratulates Justin Amash on his primary victory in Michigan’s third district, despite enduring a barrage of personal attack ads by advocates for his Chamber-backed opponent, Brian Ellis. FreedomWorks for America President Matt Kibbe commented:

“It’s hard to upgrade from a representative who has never missed a vote, explains every vote he makes on social media, and leads the charge on civil liberties and ending federal abuses of power. Justin Amash is a thought leader in the Freedom Caucus, and we plan to help his constituents send him back to Washington to keep on the fight.”

FreedomWorks for America distributed 500 yard signs and launched an aggressive online campaign in support of Justin Amash, reaching thousands of likely conservative voters on the internet using search, display, video, and social advertising. FWFA targeted over 153,000 Republicans and Likely Conservatives in MI-3 with positive Rep. Justin Amash advertisements.

Over 95 percent of those who searched for Justin Amash saw the positive or “Get out the Vote” ads. In addition, over 91 percent of those who searched for Brian Ellis saw the positive Amash or “Get out the Vote” ads.

Justin Amash holds a lifetime 100 percent score on the FreedomWorks Congressional Scorecard. He took the lead in helping to write the USA FREEDOM Act to end unconstitutional NSA spying, voted to block the IRS from implementing ObamaCare, and co-sponsored three bills to repeal the unconstitutional health care takeover.

FreedomWorks for America is a grassroots service center to over 6.6 million activists supporting candidates who believe in individual liberty and constitutionally-limited government.
