On December 3, 2004, President Bush signed S.150, The Internet Tax Nondiscrimination Act, in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building Friday. Standing with him for the signing were, from left: Congressman Chris Cox, R-Calif.; John Snow, Secretary of the Treasury; Senator Ron Wyden, D-Ore.; Senator George Allen, R-Va.; Don Evans, Secretary of Commerce; Senator John Sununu, R-N.H.; Congressman Mel Watt, D-N.C. Chris Kinnan represented FreedomWorks and its 700,000 members natiowide, many of whom sent email and faxes to Congress in an extraordinarily popular FreedomWorks/CSE grassroots campaigns.

FreedomWorks supports a permanent ban on internet access taxes as the best way to secure growth and innovation in the broadband economy, but this extension is an important first step. FreedomWorks urges the House of Representatives to pass S. 150 as soon as possible

Special thanks to the White House and Chris Butler of Americans for Tax Reform for the photos.
