FreedomWorks Echoes Rep. Andy Biggs’ Concern Over TSA Quiet Skies Program

WASHINGTON, D.C.– FreedomWorks praises Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) for demanding more information about the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Quiet Skies program. The program allows undercover air marshals to track, monitor, and take notes on passengers deemed suspicious, and send this information to the administration.

Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:

“It is deeply disturbing to know that government agents have been routinely violating the civil liberties of law-abiding American citizens and have concealed it from the public. The American people and our lawmakers need to know how far this has gone and how much taxpayer money has gone into this unconstitutional program.

“We thank Rep. Biggs for his dedication to uncovering the truth and demanding answers from the TSA. Agencies like the TSA cannot be allowed to operate without accountability or congressional oversight, especially when they violate the rights of Americans. We hope more will join his call soon to provide clarity for the public.”
