Washington, DC- FreedomWorks PAC announced its endorsement of Matt Rinaldi for Texas State House in District 115. After a thorough review of the candidates in the race, FreedomWorks PAC believes Matt Rinaldi is the clear choice for Texans looking to preserve individual freedom and control spending.
Matt Rinaldi has been active in Republican politics for approximately 20 years, and currently serves as the Vice President of Programs for the Greater Irving Republican Club, an Associate Member of the Irving Republican Women, and a member of the Dallas County Young Republicans. He has been an active participant in both the Dallas and Irving/Coppell tea parties since their inceptions, and served as co‐chairman of the Media Committee for the April 2009 Dallas Tax Day Tea Party.
FreedomWorks PAC President Matt Kibbe commented, “Matt Rinaldi has a history of putting principles over politics. He understands that talk is cheap, and that actions speak louder than words when it comes to advancing school choice and lowering taxes and spending. That’s why Rinaldi didn’t take Rep. Bennett Ratliff’s attempts to redistrict his primary challenge away lying down. This is the type of unrelenting leadership that Texans deserve to replace Bennett Ratliff, one of the most liberal Republicans in the Texas House.”
