FreedomWorks Protests Al Gore and the Radical Environmentalists in Washington

WASHINGTON, DC. Yesterday, FreedomWorks protested a book signing and speech by radical environmentalist and former Vice President Al Gore. The protest focused on his support for a cap and trade system and other economically harmful policies, as well as Gore’s hypocrisy regarding his own carbon footprint.

FreedomWorks also gathered signatures for a satirical petition that called for setting caps on “cattle emissions.” About half of the Gore supporters asked to sign the petition did so. This just goes to show that global warming activists will support ANYTHING regardless of the ridiculous nature of the policies being imposed.

One angry Gore supporter didn’t like our Panda holding up the sign “Stop Pandering to Radical Environmentalists.” He grabbed the sign from the panda and tore it up, littering the sidewalk. You can watch the video clip here. WARNING, EXPLICIT LANGUAGE. The crowd approved of his “assault on reason” by cheering.

We also used chalk to draw a huge Al Gore Carbon Footprint outside the entrance to the building. When asked if we were going to clean it up, we replied, “Only when Al cleans up his real-life carbon footprint.”

Thanks to everyone who participated in the event, including Lauren Daugherty, Jo Jensen and the FreedomWorks interns!

Enjoy the great photos below, and be sure to watch out for the Panda in your area. He will be making appearances wherever politicians are pandering to environmentalists.
