FreedomWorks to Sponsor RedState Gathering 2011
CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA- FreedomWorks will be a platinum sponsor of the 3rd annual Red State Gathering from August 12-14th at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. The purpose of the Gathering is to listen to talented Conservative speakers, huddle with other like-minded Conservatives, and discuss strategy leading into the 2012 Elections.
Over 400 conservative bloggers and activists are expected to attend. Featured speakers include Ted Cruz, Adam Hasner, Jim DeMint, Governor Nikki Haley, Florida Governor Rick Scott, FreedomWorks PAC executive director Max Pappas and Governor Rick Perry, who is expected to announce his candidacy for President of the United States.
FreedomWorks will be hosting a booth at the Gathering, as well as a Happy Hour social on Saturday night.
“We will be firing up the grassroots base in South Carolina for upcoming state and local battles,” commented Brendan Steinhauser, Director of Federal and State Campaigns for FreedomWorks. “South Carolina is one of our main primary targets this year, so this will be one of many trips to the state.”
FreedomWorks recruits, educates, trains and mobilizes volunteer activists to fight for less government, lower taxes, and more freedom.
