Greenpeace “Crimes Unit” Overpowered

After illegal activities the previous day and resting in the Dallas County jail, Greenpeace protesters were “no shows” at the ExxonMobil shareholder meeting to protest against the oil company and for the Kyoto Protocol (the global warming treaty).

In stark contrast, Texas Citizens for a Sound Economy joined other organizations and individuals to “Rally for America” at the annual meeting in Dallas on Wednesday, May 28 while the Greenpeace protesters were being arraigned.

At last year’s rally “our side” outnumbering the radical enviros and they left loading their paltry few protesters up in SUV’s which they want to deny us having. This year, we outnumbered them almost 10 to 1! Our pro-free market side carried signs reading “Just Say No to Kyoto” and “I love capitalism”.

Inside the shareholder meeting, greenies fared as badly as outside as they lost their bid to force ExxonMobil to embrace the Kyoto Protocol.
