House Vote to Override ObamaCare Veto Will Show Who Is Listening to Americans

Ahead of a vote in the House of Representatives to override President Obama’s veto of ObamaCare repeal through reconciliation, FreedomWorks Legislative Affairs Manager Josh Withrow commented:

“The White House may be happy with ObamaCare’s costly health insurance premiums, high deductibles, and shrinking provider networks. But Americans, who are forced to buy coverage under the threat of a punitive tax, are not. Today’s vote will show us which members of the House are listening to the people who have to bear the exorbitant costs of ObamaCare and willing to stand up to a president who refuses to realize that this law, supposedly his crowning achievement in office, is hurting people. It also is a reminder that we’re a change in president away from making repeal of this law a reality.”
