Internet Tax Moratorium to Expire

Kristina Rasmussen of NTU wrote a good piece on the internet tax moratorium and how not allowing it to expire has led to some reaching across partisan lines. The moratorium which was instituted in 1998 and renewed in 2001 and 2004, has kept taxpayers free from any new taxes on email and internet access services. Unfortunately, this moratorium is set to expire in November and their are some in Congress that would not mind seeing this moratorium quietly die. An expiration of this moratorium could mean a future of internet access fees on your bill as well as fees on the emails you send. Congress must do all it can to protect the taxpayer and not let this moratorium sunset. Read more here:
