LAWMAKERS WILL DISCUSS SESSION AT TOWN MEETING

State lawmakers will talk about the recent General Assembly session and field questions from the public during a town hall meeting today in Graham.

The meeting, sponsored by North Carolina Citizens for a Sound Economy, will be held at 7 p.m. at the old Alamance County courthouse.

Lawmakers expected to attend are state Sen. Hugh Webster, R-Caswell; state Rep. Cary Allred, R-Alamance; Rep. Nelson Cole, R-Rockingham; and state Rep. W.B. ”Junior” Teague Jr., R-Alamance.

Although free and open to the public, people are asked to call 584-3386 to confirm seating.
