New Jersey: Go Vote.

I got to spend part of my weekend in Jackson, New Jersey. It was a blast. You people up in NJ are crazy in the best possible way. I got there around lunch time and it was freezing and drizzling, but people still showed up. I think I bring inclement weather with me everywhere I go – I’ve spoken at just two Tea Parties that didn’t get rained on – it was over 100 both times. Both are inconvenient. The amazing thing is that nobody leaves. And that was the case on Sunday. The people of Jackson were fantastic. Everyone was SO nice. They took the time to create a display laying out the stance of each candidate on the issues relevant to the people of New Jersey.

A “fact check” display crated by the Tea Party organizers. Very cool.

I was so impressed with the dedication and with just how nice everyone was. For a bunch of mobsters, they were all so accommodating and friendly. It was my first time in NJ in a while, and I spend a lot of time making fun of the state, but it’s so critical and there is a large chance to make a statement for liberty right now.

Real Clear Politics created a list of the top 5 freest states and the top 5 least free states. New Jersey was #2 on the least free state list, second only to New York. Shocker, I know. New Jersey has a big chance to take back their state today, and I believe that these people – the ones that take the time to SHOW UP – are going to start tipping the scales. Thank you, Jackson Tea partiers and everyone else in New Jersey who is working toward lower taxes, less government, and more freedom. You are what this country is about. Go make it happen today, y’all.
