North Carolina FreedomWorks Gathers For Holiday Social

On Saturday, December 2, North Carolina FreedomWorks activists enjoyed a holiday social.  The event which drew FreedomWorks activists from across the state, was graciously hosted by Ray and Joyce Krawiec and held at their home in Kernersville.

Joining the festivities were North Carolina Senator, Hugh Webster and North Carolina Representative, John Blust.  Representative Blust spoke of his appreciation for the years of service Senator Webster has given to the people of North Carolina and of how instrumental his help has been to him personally.  Representative Blust spoke Senator Webster’s commitment to personal freedoms and his steadfastness in defense of liberties we hold dear.

Representative Blust’s praise of Senator Webster was greeted with rousing applause as was Senator Webster when he spoke to speak.  Senator Webster spoke of how thankful he was for the opportunity “to make a difference” and the change to “stand for what is right”.

Both Representative Blust and Senator Webster thanked FreedomWorks and state director, Allen Page for the “important work you do”.  Representative Blust stressed how meaningful it is for legislators to see and hear from the “real people their choices impact”.  Senator Webster stressed that FreedomWorks is the only group of its kind with activists “making sure legislators hear and understand what is truly important”.

A special thank you to the Krawiecs for their wonderful hospitality!
