ObamaCare Repeal to Finally Land on the President’s Desk

Following the House of Representatives’ passage of ObamaCare repeal through reconciliation, FreedomWorks Legislative Affairs Manager Josh Withrow commented:

“Those Republicans who were saying the fight to repeal this disastrous law was over were proven wrong this afternoon. This bill would repeal the worst parts of ObamaCare and save taxpayers more than $500 billion over the next decade. Today’s vote is a promise of what we can accomplish with the right person in the White House.”

“It’s unfortunate that President Obama is threatening to veto this bill. ObamaCare is hurting Americans by driving up the cost of health insurance and limiting their coverage options. This vote forces presidential candidates from both parties to either commit to repeal ObamaCare or explain why they wouldn’t.”
