What: FreedomWorks will be hosting a panel discussion/debate themed, “Who will make more of an impact online in November, the Right or the Left?” The panel will feature four of the nation’s top political online organizers, two representing the conservative online movement, and two representing the liberal online movement. Each panelist will be given the opportunity to make a 5-minute opening statement, followed by questions submitted by an audience of 175 bloggers.
• On the “Right”: Erick Erickson of RedState, and Jim Geraghty of the National Review Online.
• On the “Left”: Alan Rosenblatt of the Center for American Progress Action Fund, and Adam Green of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC)
• The discussion will be moderated by David Weigel, political reporter, Slate.
When: Friday September 10, 2010 at 4:00pm
Where: The event will be held in the Knight Studio at the Newseum, located at 555 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, DC 20001.
Why: This exciting panel discussion/debate will be one of the central events of this year's first annual FreedomWorks Blogger Conference. Over 175 bloggers from coast to coast will have the unique opportunity to observe four respected individuals within the political online community as they discuss the strengths and weaknesses of conservative and liberal organizing online leading up to the elections in November.
