Moll, “deputy staff director for the House Government Reform Committee, is joining the lobbying firm of Bergner, Bockorny, Castagnetti, Hawkins and Brain.” Angel Williamson, “a senior analyst with the Federal Election Commission, has joined Democracy Data & Communications, which assists public affairs, trade and interest groups with grass-roots and political action committee programs.” The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation “has named Jim Jennings chief operating officer.”

The Washington Post (1/28, A19, Deane, Morin) reports in its “Ideas Industry” column, “The Council on Foreign Relations reportedly will offer its presidency to Richard N. Haass, who currently heads the State Department’s policy planning shop and is President Bush’s point person on Northern Ireland, council sources said yesterday.”

The Frontrunner (1/28) reports Sen. Lamar Alexander yesterday announced that Alexia Levison Poe will join his staff as press secretary. Poe currently serves as deputy press secretary to Laura Bush. Meanwhile, after an eight year tenure as a congressional aide, House Budget Committee Adviser Brenna Hapes will join Citizens for a Sound Economy as Communications Director on Monday, February 10. The Washington, DC, law firm of Hunton & Williams announced Joseph Stanko has joined the firm to serve as a partner on the regulated industries and governmental relations team.
