Sharkman’ to Appear at D.C. Press Conference on Patients’ Bill of Rights

News Advisory:

On June 26, Citizens for a Sound Economy’s (CSE) “Sharkman” will appear at a press conference with CSE President Paul Beckner and Senators Phil Gramm (R-Texas), Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas), and Tim Hutchinson (R-Ark.).

The press conference is being held in the Senate Swamp to voice opposition to the Patients’ Bill of Rights legislation in its current form.

Sharkman will attend the press conference to continue his fight to end lawsuit abuse. Sharkman, who was interviewed extensively during the 2000 election season by all major networks and dozens of newspapers and radio stations, led the charge in 2000 to end lawsuit abuse.

Because the Patients’ Bill of Rights, in its current form, equates to nothing more than an invitation for trial lawyers to sue, Sharkman has decided to rejoin the fight to end lawsuit abuse.
