Upcoming Events to Protest Government Takeover of Healthcare

Tired of email, faxing, and calling your Senators?  Tired of feeling like they aren’t listening?  Have a few hours to spare tomorrow?  If this describes you, we’ve got your demonstrations right here.

Tuesday, December 15: Code Red Rally at Upper Senate Park at 1:30pm. Organized by the High Noon for Healthcare Coalition – the rally will kick-off an afternoon of office visits, and other protests.   If you can’t make it to Washington, visit your Senator’s district office today.  Let the staff know that you are visiting and/or sitting-in in solidarity with those in Washington who will be trying to get a face-to-face meeting with their Senator.  Many feel like Congress isn’t listening – this is their chance to do so.

Wednesday, December 16: Many are holding candlelight vigils at Senate district offices around the country to mark the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.  In D.C., we’ll be holding a vigil outside the National Archives to mourn the death of the Constitution at 5:30 p.m.

If you can’t make it to D.C., organize a visit or event in your area.  This is an important week and we can’t let the pressure up.
