U.S. Representative Paul Ryan Discusses Social Security, Budget Reform

KENOSHA – U.S. Congressman Paul Ryan outlined his aggressive plan to save Social Security from collapse last night at a FreedomWorks sponsored Town Hall Forum. FreedomWorks President and CEO Matt Kibbe also spoke on the need for people to urge their elected officials to work towards an “ownership society” based on lower taxes, limited government, and more individual liberty.

Last week, U.S. Rep. Ryan introduced the Social Security Savings Guarantee and Prosperity Act of 2004, which would secure Social Security in perpetuity. Before a captivated audience, Ryan declared how politicians need to embrace the Social Security debate and recognize the need to reform the crumbling system before its bankruptcy in 2018.
