MS Activist Story

BY Kathy Hartkopf

Volunteer Steve Wade and I were inside a McDonalds in Hernando, Mississippi. The gentleman came up to us and asked if one of us drove the car with all the signs. The Right Way to Be Online

The world of social media is packed to the gills with places you can hang your shingle. You can probably think of a dozen different platforms right now off the top of your head and another half-dozen with just a couple Google searches. Each of those platforms has its strengths and weaknesses and a small horde of people who want you to use them.

The GOP's Statehouse Advantage

It has been four months since the election and Republicans are still in a funk. Whether hanging out at CPAC, in the local GOP office or on social media, wherever two or more are gathered in the Elephant’s name, the mood is downright dark. If Dr. Roget released his thesaurus today, under “conservative” you’d find blue, bummed, crestfallen, dejected, despondent, disconsolate, glum, lugubrious, morose, pessimistic and woebegone.

We Need Lazy Politicians

“Do Something.” “Do Something!” “We have to DO SOMETHING!”Whenever a problem arises, be it an incomprehensible tragedy like Newtown or an imperfection in our economy, those in government and their media enablers are the first to cry, “do something.”
