Key Vote YES on Rooney's CR Amendment No. 2 to End Funding For Second Engine in F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program

Dear Representative, On behalf of over a million FreedomWorks members nationwide, I urge you to vote YES on Rep. Rooney’s (R-Fla.) amendment to H.R. 1 the Full Year Continuing Appropriation Act that would end funding for the second engine in the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program. For nearly a decade, the Air Force has considered the extra engine to be “not necessary and not affordable.” Both President Obama and former President Bush pushed to eliminate taxpayer funding of the alternate engine that burdens both taxpayers and the military.

Key Vote YES on Rep. Jordan's Amendment to the Continuing Resolution

Dear Representative, On behalf of over a million FreedomWorks members nationwide, I urge you to vote YES on Rep. Jordan’s amendment #104 to H.R. 1 the Full Year Continuing Appropriation Act.  As it currently stands, the proposed continuing resolution lowers non-security discretionary spending to $396.6 billion.  This would be the largest discretionary spending cut in American history.  Rep. Jordan’s amendment would go even further by returning non-security discretionary spending to FY2008 levels, which is $378 billion.
