North Carolina CSE Awards Christian Hine Activist of the Year

On June 5, 2001, North Carolina Citizens for a Sound Economy (NC CSE) honored Christian Hine of Charlotte with one of its 2001 Super Activists Awards. He received his award at a ceremony at NC CSE’s Annual Day at the Capitol that took place at Halifax Square.

Christian Hine was recognized for his volunteer efforts during NC CSE’s 2000 public policy issue campaigns to educate North Carolinians about the issues of limited government and promotion of free market ideals. Christian Hine put in untiring hours of volunteer time and has been an inspiration to many CSE members. NC CSE is honored to have Christian as one of its over 18,000 members statewide.

“It was with appreciation and honor that we presented Christian Hine with this award,” said North Carolina CSE Director Jonathan Hill. “He is what North Carolina CSE is all about: everyday North Carolinians working to make a difference on important public policy issues that will affect their lives. That is what being an American is all about!”
