North Carolina Senate Candidate Richard Burr Signs CSE Candidate Survey

Citizens for a Sound Economy (CSE) today announced that Representative Richard Burr (NC-05), now a candidate for the U.S. Senate in North Carolina, has completed the CSE Senate Candidate Freedom Survey and intends to run a campaign that fights for:

* Continued aggressive action towards Social Security reform that includes Personal Retirement Accounts without cutting benefits or raising taxes
* Fundamental reform of the tax code to include making permanent the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts
* Federal tort reform to end lawsuit abuse
* Welfare reform that strengthens the work/training requirements as proposed by President Bush

Rep. Burr agreed to complete the CSE Candidate Survey after meeting with CSE members in his state. They witnessed the signing and took photos (below).
