Hundreds Flock to FreedomWorks Event with Ted Nugent

NOVI, MI. Ted Nugent, and seven hundred Michigan activists, believe that FreedomWorks!

On Saturday night, October 23rd, Mr. Nugent was featured at the Michigan Freedom Works rally in Novi, Michigan. Before opening his remarks, he pulled out his electric guitar and surprised the audience with a blistering rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Mr. Nugent went on to captivate the audience using humor, intellect and tell-it-like-it-is political incorrectness.

Ted Nugent spoke of the importance of preserving the ideals of our founding fathers, limited government and an adherence to constitutional principles. He spoke of the moral hazard imposed by the welfare system and offered an alternative vision of rugged individualism, self-reliance and personal responsibility.

Our audience left pumped-up, patriotic and energized. Serious, thought provoking dialog do not have to be boring— Ted Nugent conveyed important ideas about America in an edgy and interesting way. The 700 participants were encouraged to vote, volunteer, and become advocates for the freedom message. It was a memorable and energizing night. Check out the great photos!

Congresman Thaddeus McCotter and other defenders of freedom were on hand to rall the participants.
