Another Group Rejects the Liberal Ref. C. Tax Hike

DENVER- This week, the Colorado Republican Business Coalition’s board of directors voted unanimously to oppose the Ref. C tax hike, adding another voice to the groundswell of opposition to higher taxes in Colorado

“For the second time this week, a fiscally minded organization unanimously opposed Ref C,” said Colorado FreedomWorks Campaign Coordinator Cameron Sholty. “It has become even more obvious that conservative and moderate groups stand ready to defeat the liberal Ref. C tax hike.”

Sholty further commented: “FreedomWorks will continue to encourage other groups and organizations to pass similar resolutions opposing Ref. C. There is no reason for any political or business group to support what amounts to a $3.7 billion tax hike.”

The Colorado Republican Business Coalition joins the El Paso County Republicans, Colorado Republican Gubernatorial candidates Bob Beauprez and Marc Holtzman, and conservative and Republican leaders all over Colorado who publicly oppose the Ref. C tax hike.
