Another Group Votes to Oppose the Liberal Ref. C. Tax Hike

DENVER. This week, in yet another defeat for Colorado tax and spend liberals, the Larimer County Republican Executive Board directors voted to oppose the Ref. C tax hike.

“This shows that conservative and moderate groups stand ready to defeat the liberal Ref. C tax hike,” said Colorado FreedomWorks Campaign Coordinator Cameron Sholty. “I salute the Larimer County Republican Executive Board and look forward to working with them to defeat this tax raising measure.”

Sholty further commented: “FreedomWorks will continue to encourage other groups and organizations to pass similar resolutions opposing Ref. C. There is no reason for any political or business group to support what amounts to a $3.7 billion tax hike.”

The Larimer County Republicans join the Colorado Republican Business Coalition, the El Paso County Republicans, Colorado Republican Gubernatorial candidates Bob Beauprez and Marc Holtzman, and conservative and Republican leaders all over Colorado who publicly oppose the Ref. C tax hike.
