Senate Democrat: ObamaCare is a "complex, convoluted," and "really complicated" system

Just days after Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told a crowd at the National Press Club that the priority placed on ramming ObamaCare through Congress in 2009 was a mistake, one of his colleagues, Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA), one of the co-authors of the law, conceded that it has only further complicated healthcare in the United States.

Incumbent Dems Push Universal Pre-K

Having already saddled college students with mountains of debt and ensuring that they will be unable to find jobs when they finally do graduate, the Obama administration has turned its attention towards the pre-kindergarten crowd. In his FY 2015 budget the president requested $750 million to expand the federal government’s role in preschool provision for the nation’s youngsters. This effort is right in line with what Democratic Senators have been trying to accomplish through legislation.

Four Occasions Republicans Worked with Democrats on ObamaCare

Senators John McCain and Tom Harkin kvetched on Friday that the Senate had become too partisan; Sen. Harkin warned in hushed tones that it was “very dangerous… every bit as dangerous as the break-up of the Union before the Civil War.” Presumably they were talking about conservatives who oppose ObamaCare.
