Key Vote YES on the Indirect Auto Lending CRA Resolution of Disapproval, S.J.Res. 57

On behalf of our activist community, I urge you to contact your senators and ask them to vote YES on the Indirect Auto Lending CRA Resolution of Disapproval, S.J.Res. 57. This resolution would provide for congressional disapproval of a March 2013 guidance document issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). This guidance document was issued by the CFPB to intentionally circumvent the regular agency rule-making process in order to counter existing law and give the CFPB regulatory power over auto dealers.

Senate Democrats Demand FCC Chairman Ajit Pai Violate the First Amendment; Pai Refuses

Yesterday, twelve Senators from the radical left, including Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), wrote a letter to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai demanding he open an investigation into a news company based entirely on the content aired and viewpoints of that company. What is immediately obvious to just about everyone besides these twelve Senators, including Chairman Pai, is that such action would constitute an egregious violation of the First Amendment. Today, Chairman Pai sent a letter back to the Senators making clear just as much.
