The "Green" Jobs Canard

For too long, politicians, environmentalists and subsidized proponents of “green” jobs have been peddling the notions that “investing” in green technologies is the illuminating endeavor and beneficent job creator of our time.  With scant evidence, these green jobs postulates are bulwarked by so much hot air it rivals the amount of subsidized dollars used to sustain them.

Must See Video: Rand Paul on Light Bulb Ban During Energy Committee Hearing

Despite their rhetoric, the Department of Energy has little to no interest in protecting consumer choice. These federal bureaucrats believe that they can live your life better than you can. Beginning in 2012, the Department of Energy will ban anyone from using the 100-watt incandescent light bulb. The ban will effect the production of the popular child's toy the Easy-Bake Oven. During the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, Sen.

Key Vote YES On H.R. 836 to Eliminate HUD's Emergency Homeowner Relief Program

Dear Representative, On behalf of over one million FreedomWorks members nationwide, I urge you to vote YES on H.R. 836 the Emergency Homeowner Relief Program Termination Act. Introduced by Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX), the bill would end HUD’s Emergency Homeowners Relief Program to save taxpayers $1 billion. The program is bad for both taxpayers and homeowners.
