In a statement released July 1st, Pennsylvania state Senator Dominic Pileggi has come out on the right side. Mr. Pileggi, who serves as Senate Majority Leader, is proposing a more fiscally responsible approach to Pennsylvania’s budget woes.
On July 4 several hundred limited government activists gathered in Boston for an extended day of tea party events at the Boston Common and on the harbor at Christopher Columbus Park. The event was organized by ConservativeSolutions.org. The key note speakers were Dr. John Lewis of Duke University and Dr. Yaron Brooke of the Ayn Rand Institute (a 9/12 sponsor). I had the honor of addressing the crowd on what people can do to turn the energy of the tea parties into effective advocacy against out of control spending (hint: get your family and friends involved).

Gallup: Americans of all political stripes becoming more conservative...or libertarian?
Following up on their poll showing that conservatives are the largest ideological group in America, Gallup (hardly a right-wing organization) released a survey yesterday showing that regardless of party affiliation and despite the results of the last election, the self-identified political views of Americas across party lines are becoming more conservative.
