Delay of Game: Top 10 Things the Obama Administration Has Delayed Until After an Election

Late last week, the Obama administration announced a month-long push back for second-year Obamacare enrollments, placing the enrollment date conveniently past election day.  With that move, the administration will successfully push back the horrifying optics of disastrous rate hikes, lending a hand to Democrats up for election in 2014.

Obamacare Fast-tracks Single Payer Via Medicaid Expansion

As I wrote earlier today, the expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare has come with all sorts of surprises and unintended (or perhaps intended) consequences. Medicaid expansion creates a two-tier medical delivery system that forces all but the most well-off into a single-payer system.

Obamacare Services Repaid By Your Heirs After You Die?

We all know that Nancy Pelosi said "we need to pass the bill to know what's in it," but one of the more insidious problems with Obamacare relates to the rules already in place for Medicaid, and the attempt to move as many applicants to Medicaid as possible.

Americans were Intentionally Duped: “You Can Keep Your Insurance”

Democracy and Power 108: ObfuscationWherever politics intrudes upon economic life, political success is readily attained by saying what people like to hear rather than what is demonstrably true. Instead of safeguarding truth and honesty, the state then tends to become a major source of insincerity and mendacity. —Hans F. Sennholz

ObamaCare Violates the Rule of Law

Personal Freedom and Prosperity 110: The Rule of LawA Predictable and Stable Legal Order"The Law rests upon known, general principles applicable on equal terms to all persons. It follows that the Law is superior to, and thus binds, the government and all its officials.”- Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, Supreme Court of the United States

Government Minimums Hurt The Poor

By imposing a minimum amount of insurance coverage, Obamacare limits the freedom of Americans to make their own choices. The government "minimum essential benefits" is denying health insurance to many who would like to have it. That's always the case with government minimums: they hurt those on the bottom the most.

NH Republicans Betray Party Platform with Medicaid Expansion Plan

On Thursday, New Hampshire legislators are scheduled to vote on a proposal to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. Conservative Republicans in several state governments have led the charge to opt out of implementing Medicaid expansion due to the increased costs state budgets will be forced to adopt. However, the New Hampshire GOP establishment has crafted a plan that invites crony capitalism and will force New Hampshire to adopt revenue-increasing mechanisms, such as a state income tax, to pay for the implementation of Medicaid expansion.

Testimonials Reveal Even More Serious ObamaCare Failures

Recent testimony before Congress has revealed that more than six weeks after launch, the administration is not ready to perform key operations of Obamacare. The backend payment system for delivering subsidies to insurers has not yet been built. There is no way for any of them to pretend they didn't know it wasn't ready.
