The taxpayer tea parties were wildly successful! Thank you to everyone who planned or participated in a tea party. But the movement is just beginning, and we need your help. We were able to organize dozens of tea parties around the country in less than a week, but now we must begin to plan bigger events in more cities, leading up to Tax Day on April 15th!
All we need from you is a location, date and time in your city, and an agreement to get any needed permits, and we will add your tea party to the list on this page. The Tea Party movement must focus on reaching out to all Americans who are upset about the bankrupting of our country. When planning a protest, don't just turn to political activists, but also your friends, family andcolleagues that agree with you that spending is out of control, and the bailouts must END.
This movement will be successful only if we can bring tens of thousands of Americans into the effort, and keep them involved. Focus on recruiting new people, signing them up for future events and asking themtorecruit newpeople to the cause. This kind of organizing model works for the left, and it is time that those who 
care about limited government and fiscal responsibility become "community organizers" themselves.
