WHAT: Chairman of FreedomWorks and former House Majority Leader Dick Armey will visit Des Moines to deliver a speech at an event held by Iowans for Discounted Taxes. Armey will share his vision for the future and how to keep America moving forward with a Freedom Agenda that includes bold ideas like: creating Personal Retirement Accounts that younger workers own and control, passing fundamental tax reform to make the code more fair, flat, simple and honest to unleash the economy, retaking control of the budget process on Capitol Hill to expose and end earmarks and put a halt to runaway government spending and restoring private property rights as a central element to protecting freedom, our economy and our way of life.
