Dick Armey to Visit Little Rock to Rally with Tea Party Activists

Armey will attend Pulaski County Tea Party event, FreedomWorks will focus on Senator Lincoln’s ObamaCare Vote.

What:  Chairman of FreedomWorks and former House Majority Leader Dick Armey will visit Little Rock, Arkansas at the invitation of the Pulaski County Tea Party.

Who:  Chairman Dick Armey joins with local small government grassroots activists.

When and where:   Armey is invited to speak Tuesday December 15 to the Pulaski County Tea Party at 7:30pm.  The event will be held at the at the Embassy Suites at 11301 Financial Center, in Little Rock.  

On Wednesday, Armey will attend a press conference at 10:30am outside Senator Blanch Lincoln's Little Rock office at 912 West Fourth Street in downtown Little Rock.  Following the press conference, activists will visit Senator Lincoln’s office to oppose the budget busting health care bill being rushed through the Senate.  

Both events are open to the media.

Why:   Sixty-two percent of Arkansans oppose this government hostile take over of health care. Senator Lincoln has a responsibility to her constituents to vote against this ineffective and expensive legislation, and she is key vote in the final outcome of this debate.    FreedomWorks Chainman Dick Armey will also be discussing proposed cap and trade legislation and the limited government movement heading into 2010.
