FreedomWorks Event in Richmond, VA
Dick Armey and John Taylor talk about the tea party movement, healthcare, cap and tax, and other issues
FreedomWorks Chairman Dick Armey will be coming to Richmond at the Europa Cafe (1409 E Cary St, Richmond) on October 29th at 6pm. He will be discussing the Tea Party movement, healthcare, cap and tax, among other relevant issues. The event will also feature Doc Thompson of WRVA-Richmond and John Taylor of The Virginia Institute and Tertium Quids. John Taylor will focus on issues central to Virginia - a critical state in the upcoming election.
Since February, the Tea Party movement has been steadily gaining momentum, with countless events in all fifty states. FreedomWorks has been a strong supporter of the events, helping to organize what become one of the largest political marches in DC history - the 9/12 Taxpayer March on Washington.
"I am excited to be going down to support the limited government movement in Richmond," says FreedomWorks Chairman Dick Armey. Armey is fresh off a visit to Syracuse, New York, where FreedomWorks is in engaged in a issue education campaign surrounding the 23rd Congressional District Special Election that will be held on November 3rd.
FreedomWorks is determined to promote limited government and personal responsibility by exposing the real threats posed by the administration’s health care reform plan and cap and trade bill.
