FreedomWorks Rightalk Radio: Fighting for Freedom at All Levels of Government
June 30th program will discuss Social Security and Tax Reform
By Adam Brandon on June 29, 2005
On all levels of government, FreedomWorks is educating the public about the benefits of lower taxes, less government and more freedom. FreedomWorks will be on Internet radio for the next broadcast of “The FreedomWorks Show”, which will air live Thursday, June 30th between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM EST.
The professionally produced program is part of the Rightalk.com network, a conservative Internet radio web site, and is available for free streaming download. On “The FreedomWorks Show,” guests will discuss Freedom Agenda issues on both the national and state levels, as well as an update on FreedomWorks activities across the country.
The June 30th show will open with Ursula William from Students for Saving Social Security, a coalition of college organizations across the nation that support reform with Personal Retirement Accounts. Her interview will be followed by a discussion on taxes with Doug Bruce, the author of the Tax Payers Bill of Rights in Colorado, and Pete Sepp, the Vice President for Communications at the National Taxpayers Union.
If listeners have any program ideas or events they would like covered, they can contact Nick Bouknight at email@example.com.
FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe commented:
“The debate over the future of personal accounts has reached a critical point. Congress has the chance to give people the freedom to choose the option of personal accounts and help fix Social Security. FreedomWorks believes that Congress must pass real personal accounts that workers can own, control, and pass on to their loved ones. “
“FreedomWorks has also been heavily involved in the fight for lower taxes. We were excited to co-sponsor the Nation Taxpayers Conference earlier this month and meet with likeminded conservatives who are engaged in this ongoing movement.”
