FreedomWorks Supports the “Jobs, Opportunity and Business Success Act of 2009”
FreedomWorks applauds Georgia State Representative Tom Graves for introducing this pro-growth, tax relief package.
State Representative Tom Graves (R-12) understands that the best way to jump start an economy is to support private sector growth. Standing on the principle that money is best left in the hands of the people, Representative Graves is sponsoring the “Jobs, Opportunity, and Business Success Act of 2009.” The plan includes eliminating the Inventory Tax and the Sales Tax Deposit in addition to tax credits for every eligible employee hired.
Matt Kibbe, president of FreedomWorks, commented:
“I am extremely pleased to learn of this proposal. Instead of trying to “stimulate” Georgia’s economy by increasing government spending and burdening future generations with mammoth debt, Graves’ bill aims to help business attract private capital to higher new employees and expand. This is the course leading to economic prosperity.
Tom Graves is a legislative entrepreneur who understands the economy. It is refreshing, especially in these current economic times, to see legislators recognize that people are the driving force of economic growth. FreedomWorks will be doing all it can to support this act in the days to come.”
FreedomWorks is a grassroots organization with over 500,000 members nationwide dedicated to lower taxes, less government, and more freedom.
