Pass the Wisconsin Video Competition Act
Earlier this year the Wisconsin Video Competition Act passed the state Assembly. Now the Senate needs to act in order to bring free-market competition to the state’s telecommunication industry.
Please TAKE ACTION and send a message to your Senator that you support this bill, which would bring competition to the video programming market in Wisconsin.
Burdensome franchise laws in Wisconsin are preventing companies from competing for consumers. That is why FreedomWorks is supporting the Wisconsin Video Competition Act, which would create a statewide franchise system and make it easier for new entrants to the video programming market to offer services.
The Wisconsin Video Competition Act would allow consumers to take advantage of new technologies by streamlining the franchise application process for potential providers. When companies compete to provide service, consumers win through more choices, lower prices and better service.
Sincerely,
Dick Armey
