Social Security Bake Sale at Tufts University
FreedomWorks Congressional Action Team Leader in action.
Ryan Sorba, a FreedomWorks CAT leader and S4 campus representative held a social security bake sale at Tufts University outside Boston this week. Ryan is a field representative this fall for the Leadership Institute's Campus Leadership Program.
The idea comes from the youth organization Students for Saving Social Security, which is a great ally of FreedomWorks on the issue of personal accounts. The purpose of the bake sale was to show the higher burden that younger workers must bear to pay the future unfunded liabilities of social security and medicare. Check out the great pictures below!
