As a member of my community and this country, these are my concerns on how the U.S. policies affect the Nation and the world.
Taxation system:
Have you ever considered the possibility on either present/future to revamp the U.S. taxation system in order to make it less penalizing,yet to provide the revenues for the nation while making it globally competent. I would like a system in which less forms/schedules are used regardless of individuals/families/businesses' income.
Airport security system:
While the need to secure our airports, regardless of size and or passenger handling, is paramount in a post 9/11 era, why many passengers since 2001 and now on have been complaining of negligent behavior by screening officers and the fact that their privacy is already been threatened by technologies/procedures imposed upon them on domestic/international flights. Can revamping/abolishing the Dept. of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Admin. (TSA) make our skies secure,while respecting our passengers' rights.
International Affairs.:
During many years, U.S. policy had been both a beneficial and dangerous adventure on every corner of the world. With an ongoing situation in both Middle East and the American continent, can we protect our civilians/businesses while avoiding steeping into other nations' affairs, regardless of how democratic or least democratic are they.
These are my concerns regarding how a Capitol Hill policy is performed here and abroad. I would like to have every member of the Congress and even the President and Staff to consider it.

I would propose a sliding scale, but zero deductions; As much as I like getting my mortgage-interest deducted, I would be willing to forgo _all_deductions as long as the extremely wealthy (>$200k/yr) have to pay full taxes.
End to "corporate welfare is another issue to be tackled. |
