Washington, DC - FreedomWorks Chairman Dick Armey will visit Honolulu, Hawaii on January 27 and 28 to meet with members of the Republican National Conservative Caucus.  Armey was invited by the group to speak on how to restore constitutional principles in public polices to build a freer and more prosperous society.

SB 2961 is a new, regressive tax on cigarettes that would make Hawaii’s tobacco tax the highest in the nation and hit the state’s poor and small businesses owners the hardest.

Dick Armey, the chairman of FreedomWorks, and Matt Kibbe, president, spoke at a luncheon at the Pacific Club on Thursday March 29, 2006, which was sponsored by FreedomWorks, Small Business Hawaii and the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii. They were here to help establish a chapter of FreedomWorks here in Hawaii.

Richard Rowland, president of GRIH, opened the proceedings and introduced Matt Kibbe.
