FreedomWorks activists assist successful door to door GOTV campaign

Last night Republican Scott Brown beat Democrat Martha Coakley for the late Ted Kennedy’s open Senate seat by 5 points, exceeding all expectations and causing quite a stir not only among the Tea Party movement, but on Capitol Hill. This is the first time since 1972 that a Republican has taken a Massachusetts Senate seat, and the late surge of support was highly unexpected.

FreedomWorks signs on to Massachusetts Consumers for Technology and Cable Choice, grassroots effort mobilized.

FreedomWorks is continuing yhe fight for greater consumer choice in cable providers by joining the Massachusetts Consumers for Technology and Cable Choice coalition.

The coalition is coming together to promote consumer choice in cable providers and to support legislation like the Massachusetts Cable Choice and Competition Act that was recently introduced by State Senator Steve Panagiotakos and State Representative Jim Vallee.

The state was holding a special election to fill the seat held by Senator Edward M.
