It looks like a group intent on raising cigarette taxes in Utah just hasn’t gotten the message.  These people still want to increase the current 69.5 cent per pack tax by $1.30 to a whopping $2.00 per pack.  This would give Utah the sixth largest cigarette tax in the nation, and the largest single cigarette tax increase in the nation.  A pack of cigarettes would cost over $5.00, with over 60% of that going to the government! 

Whether you smoke or not, this is highway robbery.
