CSE Activists Invited to Attend Sawgrass Event October 18 in Naples, Florida

CSE has been following one of the two Sawgrass Rebellion convoys, as it winds its way from Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Naples, Florida.

The following was written based upon information provided by John Grasmeier of the Property Rights Action Committee in Naples.

Yes folks, the Sawgrass Rebellion is moving forward. Convoys have moved across the country from Klamath Falls, Oregon, and London, Ohio, and are now approaching Florida.

On October 18th, 2002, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the Property Rights Action Committee in Naples, Florida, will be hosting a National Block Party/Yard Sale, and everyone in the nation is invited.

This event will be a first of its kind in the property rights arena, and people from all walks of life will be in attendance. Admission is free. All that is required is that you love your country, care about your neighbor and have a desire to be a part of something larger than yourself.

We’ve decided to bring everyone right to our homes. Coincidentally, our homes happen to be directly in the heart of one of the areas targeted for destruction by the U. S. Corps of Engineers, as part of the Everglades Reclaimation project.

After all the fun and festivities, we will muster the troops and vehicles for a convoy across the Everglades (via Alligator Alley) to a second event, in or near another heavily-battered community in Homestead, Florida.

In addition to meeting the very families that are directly affected by the scourge that has been visited on their community, you will meet some wonderful people from other parts of the country. Some are veterans of battles similar to the one we’re fighting here.

You will not find rabid ideologues, political lobbyists or extremists. We are normal people who are trying to defend our families, our livelihoods and our way of life. We have no choice but to choose our children over sparrows and obscure plants, our country over the bank accounts of the enviro-conglomerates, our sweat equity over junk science. We never asked to be set upon by this complex, well-oiled and anti-American extortion machine, but we will rise to the occasion. We have no choice but to fight with everything we have, as this illicit, freedom-destroying monster must be stopped at all costs.

We must activate and create movement and we must activate and create movement now, lest we be trampled underfoot, only to become a footnote in our opponents’ tactical play book.

CSE members interested in our worthy cause and intent on securing the integrity of this beautiful land we call America, we’re recruiting. Every single solitary one of you is needed now.

What can you do?

The first and best thing you can do is show up on the ground. Be there for this most historic event. Drive to Naples. Or fly in, as CSE member Kathy Van Tuyl of Medford, Oregon has done. Join one of the convoys on its way in, as have CSE members Bill & Lynette Ames of Dallas. Take a bus or a boat. Just get here. It might not be easy, but it will be more than worth it.

Tell a friend. Most importantly, tell your children. Tell them about us and about our country and those who came before them. Tell them about the freedom that God and our founding fathers intended for us. They are next in line and there may be a time when they are called, as we have been. We must remain forever one step ahead of those who would tear us down.

God bless you, God bless this Sawgrass Rebellion and God bless America.
