Deneen Borelli: "Tea Party must stop EPA's back-door CO2 regulations"

There's no rest for weary tea partiers - Project 21 and FreedomWorks fellow Deneen Borelli has a hard-hitting piece at the Daily Caller about the next big battle, the EPA's CO2 regulation scheme.  With cap-and-trade legislation nearly dead in the Senate, the Obama administration now hopes to ram climate regulation through the backdoor.

March 16 Update

By now you should have heard all about the People's Surge Against ObamaCare 2.0 on March 16.  If not, go here to get caught up. Tuesday looks like it will be a nice 64 degrees and partly cloudy, great protesting weather.  Bring yourself, a friend or five,  and comfortable walking shoes - we have alot of ground to cover.

Democratic Support for EPA Regulation of Emissions Is Declining...

Slowly but surely, Democratic support for the EPA’s regulation of greenhouse gases is waning.  Recently, West Virginia Democratic Sen. John Rockefeller introduced legislation that would prohibit the EPA from going forward with its regulation scheme for the next two years. Sen. Rockefeller, a coal state Democrat, contends that protecting jobs is vital, and that that is precisely what his EPA proof legislation intends to do. Politico reports that Sen.

Two House Dems Move to Block EPA Regulations

Sen. Murkowski isn't the only one with a resolution to stop the EPA from regulating greenhouse gases under its endangerment finding.  Like the 41 Senators now backing the Murkowski resolution, a similar bipartisan efforts is now underway in the House: Two top House Democrats have introduced a measure aimed at blocking the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating pollution-causing greenhouse gases.

EPA Wants More Money, Thinks Blood Comes From Stones

Apparently a mere $10 billion in FY11 isn't enough for EPA Adminstrator Lisa Jackson to finish her diabolical economy crushing plan.  So she trekked up to the Hill this week looking for more taxdollars to pay for greenhouse gas regs.

Arkansas Action Alert

An important vote is coming up in the U.S. Senate that could help shape the climate change debate.   Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) has introduced a resolution of disapproval to challenge the Environmental Protection Agency’s “endangerment” finding, which allows the EPA to treat carbon dioxide (CO2) as a pollutant and therefore regulate it under the Clean Air Act. This is the Obama Administration’s way of setting the stage for cap and trade.

It Came From the EPA

Scott Brown's election may have halted the specter of cap and trade for now, but that doesn't mean the Administration is stepping back from energy regulation any day soon.  The Administration isn't going to let a little thing like the fact that cap and trade would gut the economy, the fact that many oppose the plan, the fact that this opposition is growing, and the fact that voters in Massachusetts just sent a resounding message of disapproval of such big government machinations.

White House Bullying Congress into Cap and Trade

The EPA's findings on carbon dioxide earlier this week came as a surprise to few.  And the timing, in light of Copenhagen, couldn't be better for the Administration (sheer coincidence, we're sure).  Now it looks like the Administration isn't just going to bask in the sunlight of getting something done just in time for Obama's big speech in Oslo.  The White House is http://www.foxnews.com/politics
