Phone Calls and Fact of the Day

You can help us make the final push to victory on November 1! The Rocky Mountain News reported that the Yes On C camp has received a substantial infusion of cash to spend trying to convince voters they should pass the largest tax increase in Colorado’s history. We need to defeat this with pure grass roots activism and that includes you. We have an urgent need for volunteers to make phone calls to selected households that haven’t voted yet. It’s very easy actually, we have a script for you to use as well as all the phone numbers you’ll need.

We can use you to make one phone call or one hundred – as many as you have time to help us out with. Together we can all defeat this $3.7 billion blank check to the legislature!

Colorado Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights Fact of the Day # 30 from NTU /CUT

Colorado’s special interests want bigger government while most taxpayers would rather have the final say over how their money is spent than allow bureaucrats to do it for them. That is one reason why the Denver Chamber of Commerce has spent 4.6 times more to pass Referendum C than the entire anti-Referendum C campaign has received (mostly from individuals). The Chamber has given more than $708,000 to the “Yes on C & D” campaign while “Vote No: It’s Your Dough,” the leading group against Referendum C, has taken in just over $153,000.*
